WATCH: Sachin Tendulkar and Ricky Ponting shared a frame

Sachin and Ponting were part of the 'Ricky Ponting XI' side in the Bushfire Bash match.

What's a better sight for a cricket fan on a Sunday morning than watching Sachin Tendulkar and Ricky Ponting in one frame? The two cricketing greats had a casual chat before the Bushfire Bash. 

Although Sachin was not playing the match, fans were excited just by his name attached to the event. He was only asked to coach Ricky Ponting XI for the charity match but had to walk out for a one-over challenge with Australia women's cricketer Ellyse Perry.

Before the start of the match, fans got to watch Tendulkar and Ponting having chat with their batting gears on. It was a rare sight! The last time we got to witness both the legends in one frame was when Ponting played for Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Ponting and Tendulkar have a combined 171 international centuries between them, and 61,840 runs. 

The official Twitter account of ICC shared the video on Twitter and wrote, "61,840 runs, 171 centuries, 4 World Cup trophies in one frame".

Talking about the match, it went in Ponting XI's favor as they defended 104 in 10 overs and won the game by 1 run.
