One of India's best find in limited-overs cricket, MS Dhoni completed 15 years of international cricket on December 23. The only captain to win all three ICC trophies, Dhoni made his debut for India against Bangladesh in 2004.

It wasn't a memorable start to his career with no runs in his account and an unfortunate run-out. He had more failures in the upcoming matches. But the Jharkhand cricketer wasn't left out of the squad and was assured of a good number of opportunities. He paid off the faith with a flamboyant 148 against Pakistan at Vizag in 2005 and the journey of Dhoni truly begun.

Currently, the 38-year-old is on the verge of retirement, although he hasn't confirmed it yet, the finishing line isn't too far. Dhoni has already got an illustrious career to cherish the rest of his life, but fans want him to appear in the upcoming T20 World Cup before bidding farewell.

The social media was filled with nostalgic posts for Dhoni. He hasn't played for India since World Cup 2019, and fans are craving to see their man back on the field.

Chennai Super Kings, the IPL franchise who kept Dhoni since the beginning of IPL, posted a tweet wordplay and wrote, "Finite years. Infini7e memories.#15YearsOfDhonism #Thala #WhistlePodu ????????."
