Bangladesh Premier League's opening match between Sylhet Thunder and Chattogram Challengers in Dhaka got the attention of suspicious eyes of the cricket fans. The reason was Thunder pacer Krishmar Santokie's first over which saw an unusual wide delivery and a no-ball featuring him over-stepping by a huge margin.
Santokie was brought in to bowl in the second over and on the second delivery, he bowled a wide delivery to Challengers opening batsman Avishka Fernando. It was way down the leg side. The fans got more dubious when the West Indies cricketer Santokie bowled a massive no-ball. His front foot was nowhere near the popping crease.
Overall, he conceded 34 runs in his four overs and picked up a wicket. His bowling also included four wide balls and one no-ball.
