November 26, 2019, marks the 11th anniversary of the dreaded Terrorist attacks that happened in Mumbai in 2008.
The attacks were carried out in some of the most prominent areas of the financial capital of the country including the Taj Hotel, the Trident hotel, the Leopold Cafe and the Nariman House. The assailants, who were 10 in numbers, were from terrorist outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba and started the attacks from the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus.
The attacks lasted three days and 174 people lost their lives, including the attackers; with over 300 injured. The financial capital of India was rocked to its core during and after these attacks and the only perpetrator caught in the attacks, Pakistan’s Ajmal Kasab was hanged in 2012.
