In a match against Paarl Rocks on November 22, Gayle pretended to cry after on-field umpire withheld his LBW appeal.

Defending the total of 130, Gayle opened the bowling for Stars. In the final ball of his over, his off-spinning delivery struck Paarl Rocks’ opener Henry David’s pads to which Gayle appealed in a desperate manner to umpire Ryan Hendricks.

When the umpire did not raise his finger, the West Indies veteran pretended to cry which left the former in splits.

Here’s the video:

Coming to the match, Paarl Rocks rode on James Vince’s 28-ball 43 and contributions from Dwaine Pretorius (37 off 26 balls) and Mangaliso Mosehle (31 off 21 balls) to overhaul the target in just 16.1 overs.
