Team India's squads for the upcoming limited-overs series against West Indies at home were announced on Thursday (November 21).

Kuldeep Yadav will join forces with his wrist-spin partner Yuzvendra Chahal as the left-arm wrist-spinner was named in T20I squad for the first time since February 2019. All-rounder Krunal Pandya has been left out to accommodate Kuldeep.

On finding his name in the T20I team sheet, Kuldeep couldn’t hide his emotions as he posted a picture with spin-twin Chahal and captioned it as: “Back again @yuzi_chahal #kulcha”.

Chahal was also delighted to have his spin partner back as he tweeted: “Kul-cha brothers”.

Meanwhile, skipper Virat Kohli returns to the T20I squad after skipping the series against Bangladesh.

MS Dhoni, who has not played any competitive cricket since India's World Cup 2019 campaign, has not found a place in both the T20I and ODI squads.

Left-arm pacer Khaleel Ahmed has been dropped from the shortest format after his ordinary outings against Bangladesh earlier this month. A fit-again Bhuvneshwar Kumar takes his place in the T20I squad while the in-form Mohammad Shami also makes a comeback to the T20I squad.

The Men in Blue will play three T20Is and as many ODIs against West Indies from December 6 to December 22.
