PICS: Indian cricketers celebrate 'festival of lights' Diwali

Indian cricketers took to social media to share pictures of their Diwali celebrations.

Diwali is being celebrated across India and other parts of the world today. One of the most popular festivals of Hinduism, Diwali symbolizes the spiritual "victory of light over darkness, good over evil and knowledge over ignorance".

During the celebration, temples, homes, shops and office buildings are brightly illuminated. The Indian cricketers are with their loved ones to celebrate this festival of light given that there are no matches going on.

Some of the cricketers have welcomed new members into their families since the last Diwali like Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane, while some have been devoted in celebrating the festival to the fullest.

Indian Cricketers never forget to share their joy with their legion of fans and images of them celebrating the festival with happiness is the best thing to be enjoyed. The cricketers decorated their homes in lights and Rangoli and shared some amazing photos on their social media accounts. We have collected some of the best for you as well.
