Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli wears his heart on his sleeve. He takes immense pride in donning the national jersey and often shows his aggressive demeanour on the cricket field.
However, Kohli is quite a gentleman off the field and is admired by masses across the globe. The Delhi lad also shares a very healthy camaraderie with his counterparts and opposition players.
On Saturday (October 26), Virat once again gave a glimpse of his sound rapport with rivals as he posted a throwback picture with former South Africa skipper AB de Villiers and England’s white-ball captain Eoin Morgan on Instagram.
“The beautiful thing about sport is that rivalries stay on the field and just with a smile and an open mind all tension between athletes can be put to rest. Play hard on the field but always be up for a laugh off it. What a blessing to have gotten to know so many amazing people through sport. @eoinmorgan16 @abdevilliers17,” he wrote in the caption.
By sharing this picture from the opening ceremony of ICC Champions Trophy 2017, Kohli also left the fans wondering whether Morgan is joining Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) for the next edition of Indian Premier League (IPL).
Notably, Kohli and De Villiers have been sharing the RCB dressing room since 2011 while Morgan has played for the Bangalore-based franchise in 2010.
