India’s ace all-rounder Hardik Pandya recently underwent a surgery in London to treat his lower back problem.
Taking to Twitter, Pandya on Saturday (October 5) shared an update about his surgery. He posted a picture of him lying on the hospital bed with the caption reading: "Surgery done successfully. Extremely grateful to everyone for your wishes. Will be back in no time! Till then miss me."
As soon as he shared this news, cricket fans and followers flooded his post with "get well soon" messages.
While the fans heaved a sigh of relief, some also noticed the highly-priced watch Pandya was sporting in the picture. And now the netizens are wondering if the Baroda-born cricketer actually wore the watch during the surgery as well.
Apparently, Hardik was wearing Patek Philip Rose Gold Nautilus (in 18K rose gold case) with a reference number 5980/1R and Caliber CH 28-520 C. As far as the price of the watch is concerned - it worth INR 80 lakhs and has an eight-year waiting list.
Pandya, 25, last featured in the three-match T20I series against South Africa where he aggravated his back injury. He was not named in the squad for the ongoing three-Test series against the visiting Proteas side.
