India veteran Harbhajan Singh urged Suryakumar Yadav to keep "working hard" as he reckons the Mumbai cricketer's chance of wearing the Team India jersey isn't too far away.
Quite interestingly, Harbhajan also advocated Yadav as a potential candidate for the No.4 slot in India's limited-overs outfit.
"Don't know why he doesn't get picked for india after scoring runs heavily in domestic cricket @surya_14kumar keep working hard.. your time will come," the off-spinner tweeted on Sunday (September 29).
Yadav, a Mumbai Indians mainstay in the IPL these days, has had 2,081 runs at an average of 34.1 in 78 List A games so far. The 29-year-old has also played 72 first-class games, scoring 4,818 runs at an average of 43 with 12 hundreds and 24 half-centuries, including the best of 200.
Yadav just made a blistering 31-ball 81 to help Mumbai defeat Chhattisgarh in the ongoing Vijay Hazare trophy.
