Sri Lanka pacer Lasith Malinga became a hit as soon as he walked into the international cricket. His unorthodox bowling style gave him a different identity. Soon as the years passed in his career, Malinga kept getting better and is now among the legend of Sri Lanka cricket.
The 36-year-old has inspired a lot of youngsters around the world. Among many, one of them is from Kandy, Sri Lanka, who caught everyone's eyes with his bowling performance. 17-year-old Matheesha Pathirana, who bowls with a sling-arm bowling action similar to Malinga, picked up six wickets for just seven runs in an intercollege match. Pathirana was representing Trinity College.
Batsmen were finding it tough to tackle Matheesha. His yorkers reminded everyone of Malinga's brutal yorkers.
