MS Dhoni-led India cricket team had created history back in 2007 on 24th September when they lifted the World T20 title with a bunch of youngsters. It gave the Men in Blue fans much to rejoice after the team's disappointing outing in the 2007 World Cup in West Indies.

It wasn't an easy route to the final for the Indian team as they had to contend with teams like England, South Africa, and Australia. But Team India kept on jumping over each obstacle and eventually met Pakistan for the final face-off. 

From Gautam Gambhir's innings to Irfan Pathan's spell, fans remember it all. BCCI shared a video clip of the final catch by S Sreesanth to dismiss Pakistan's Misbah-ul-Haq which gave fans a major throwback. 

It was the start of Dhoni's journey as a captain. The youngster's leadership skill was recognized and truly acknowledged after this notable ICC tournament.

Dhoni had talked about the scene in India after they returned with the trophy. "When we landed in Delhi, there was a lot of media. At times, people feel that we are not emotional enough about it, but I always felt, as sportspersons, you have to be strong enough to go through everything, and it has to be within yourself," Dhoni said back in 2016. "It is not about coming for a press conference and crying about stuff, or crying in the field about what has happened."

BCCI, in the video posted on Twitter, wrote, "This day, in 2007 #TeamIndia have crowned World T20 Champions." 

Fans couldn't stop talking about the priceless moment of Indian cricket and how Dhoni made them believe in Team India once again.
