Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) won the opening game of Caribbean Premier League (CPL) by beating St Kitts and Nevis Patriots. The 11-run victory came after TKR put up a good fight with the ball and bowled out Patriots on 141.

It was Mohammad Hasnain who bagged three wickets along with Jimmy Neesham. In his three wickets, Hasnain also dismissed the dangerous-looking Fabian Allen. He was sent back after a quick 14-ball 30.

Impressed with the team's performance, co-owner Shah Rukh Khan visited the team's dressing room to congratulate the players. Shah Rukh hugged Hasnain for his bowling performance and wished him luck for the upcoming matches.
