Legendary India cricketer MS Dhoni, who took a sabbatical from the game to serve his paramilitary regiment, enjoyed every bit of his time with the Indian Army for more than two weeks.

The wicketkeeper batsman was posted in Kashmir valley with 106 TA Battalion (PARA) and he also went to Leh for India's 73rd Independence Day celebration.

During his visit to Leh, Dhoni also played cricket with the kids and a picture of which was shared by his IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Twitter.

"Different field. Different gamepLeh. #Thala @msdhoni #WhistlePodu," CSK wrote in the caption of the picture.

Lieutenant Colonel Dhoni has now returned from his 15-day training. He recently got reunited with his daughter and wife in New Delhi.

As far as his cricket career is concerned – the 38-year-old hasn't hinted retirement yet. As the selectors are looking to build a team for next year’s T20 World Cup, it will be interesting to see whether Dhoni gets picked or snubbed for the three-match T20I series against South Africa next month.
