Fielding is tough, catching is tougher and catching on ropes is toughest. But if you have spent most of your time flying like a superman on the field, it isn't a hard task for you. Someone like AB de Villiers does it for fun.

The ex-South African cricketer has been one of the most acrobatic fielders. There is still doubt in what has left fans open-mouthed more, his shots or his fielding efforts?

De Villiers, in the opening match of T20 Blast, stunned the crowd by showing incredible awareness while fielding. When Essex batsman Dan Lawrence decided to go big, he went after the ball and caught it neatly.

However, the momentum of the body was pushing him over the boundary. Aware of the same, De Villiers quickly threw the ball to his fielding partner of Middlesex George Scott.

After Lawrence’s dismissal, Essex were 73/4 after 11.1 overs. They managed to score 164/6, thanks to an unbeaten 74-run knock by Ryan ten Doeschate.

While coming out to chase the target, Middlesex did it with the ease. De Villiers' brilliance aided them again, this time with the bat. He scored 88* to help them win their first game of the tournament by seven wickets and three overs left.
