After India beat Sri Lanka and South Africa defeated Australia in their last league matches, the picture of the semi-finals was finally clear. India is now going to face New Zealand in the semi-final at Old Trafford, earlier there were more chances that they may clash with the hosts England at Edgbaston. 

India playing against New Zealand in the semi-final has just refreshed our memories from 2008. In that year, India had won Under-19 World Cup under Virat Kohli's captaincy. 

Incidentally, Virat-led India in World Cup U-19 2008 had faced Kane Williamson-led New Zealand in semis. The Men in Blue were successful in beating Kiwis that time and Indian fans would be hoping for the same here. India had beaten New Zealand by 3 wickets and Kane's wicket incidently was picked up by Virat himself.

India will look to book a spot in the World Cup final for the fourth time, while New Zealand who were the finalists in 2015, will look to have the chance to correct what went wrong for them against Australia.
