Virat Kohli met Harry Kane days before Champions League finalsVirat Kohli is one of the biggest sportspersons in the world and most recognizable cricketers in the modern era. However, apart from cricket, Kohli is a big follower of football and tennis as well. He had been seen taking pictures with tennis legend Roger Federer and recently, clicked a selfie with England footballer Harry Kane.

Kohli, who is leading the Indian team in the ICC World Cup 2019, found time to meet heroes of other sports as well. And Kane is someone with whom he has had many conversations on social media. However, it seems that Kohli is jinxing teams and players whenever he lends support to a particular side, which is firmly believed by fans all over the world.

During the FIFA World Cup which took place in Russia last year, Kohli revealed that he was supporting Germany. While extending his support for Germany in the FIFA World Cup last year had posted a picture of himself sporting a Germany jersey. However, Germany had one of their worst World Cup campaigns last year and Kohli was trolled for cursing the team.

Now, he has been on target on Tottenham Hotspurs’ fans as the team lost their Champions League final to Liverpool. Harry Kane was well under-par in the big final as his team went down 0-2.

The fans of the team have blamed Kohli was cursing the team by taking a selfie with Tottenham player Kane before the match. The trend of #KohliCurse even started to trend on Twitter and here are some tweets from fans.
