Former Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi on Thursday (May 9) lambasted the misleading media reports on not including the legendary India batsman Sachin Tendulkar in his various dream XIs.

Afridi also took the media to the task for spreading negative hype about his just-released autobiography titled 'Game Changer'.

Taking to Twitter, Afridi posted three different screenshots from his book in which Tendulkar’s name can be seen in his all-time best Pakistan-India XI and all-time best World XI.

“Sad to say that misleading reporting from media led to negative hype about #GameChanger. Here are my three XIs (Pakistan, India-Pakistan & World). Media reported that @sachin_rt wasn't on my list. How couldn't he be?! The details are in #GameChanger by @wajskhan. The proof: Here!,” Afridi tweeted.

Shahid Afridi has been grabbing headlines ever since the release of his autobiography last month. Be it his remarks on Gautam Gambhir, Waqar Younis, Javed Miandad or Kashmir, the former Pakistan captain has caused quite a stir.

Written by eminent journalist Wajahat Saeed Khan, Afridi’s autobiography was launched on April 25. In his book, Afridi has also revealed that his real age was 19 and not 16 when he played his first ODI match for Pakistan.
