Ahead of taking on the three-time IPL champions Mumbai Indians (MI) in their next IPL 2019 encounter on Thursday, 28 March at home ground, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Virat Kohli was seen training hard at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
Despite having power-hitters in AB de Villiers, Simron Hetmyer and Kohli himself in their ranks, the RCB had a forgettable start to the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019, as they were bowled out for just 70 runs in their tournament opener against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on 23 March.
While RCB’s struggle in the tournament is continued, Captain Kohli would be certainly looking for a win over MI at the home ground to register their first win of the 12th season.
On 26 March, the 30-year-old shared a video on his official Twitter handle, where the stylish right-hander was seen training hard in the nets, as he is gearing to make an impression in the tournament after failing to live up to the expectations in the IPL 2019 opener against the CSK.
His post reads, “Back in Bangalore and back to work. #thegrindneverstops.”
