Former India cricketer Gautam Gambhir who was part of the 2007 World T20 and 2011 World Cup winning Indian team received Padma Shri from the President of India Ram Nath Kovind on Saturday.

Padma Shri is the country's fourth highest civilian award. He was conferred with the award for his contribution to the Indian cricket.

At this memorable moment of his life, Gambhir's wife Natasha Gambhir was also present there. We know Gautam for his seriousness and 'always' angry face. But very fewer people have an idea about his sense of humor. The former India batsman shared a picture with his wife on Twitter adding a touch of humor in it.

He posted the picture and wrote, "Back to reality with a LOUD thuddddddd!!!! Padmashri with his Sri Sri Srimati @natashagambhir2 Don’t worry about the तोप in the background, I get fired everyday at home."

Gambhir has played some of the best innings for India. His famous innings in World Cup 2011 and World T20 2007 finals can never be forgotten.

In the World T20 2007, against Pakistan, Gambhir had scored 75 runs and in World Cup 2011 final, he made a game-changing contribution of 97 runs and also put up a partnership with MS Dhoni to make sure India wins the World Cup after 28 years.
