Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan has expressed his desire on Wednesday (6 March) to appear on Indian leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal's chat show - ‘Chahal TV’.
Chahal has not featured in India’s opening two One Day Internationals of the five-match series in Hyderabad and Nagpur respectively against Australia.
However, Chahal made the most of the time, bringing out the new episode of his chat show featuring Indian skipper Virat Kohli and all-rounder Vijay Shankar after Nagpur ODI on Tuesday.
Kohli and Shankar were the heroes of India’s thrilling 8 runs win in the second ODI against Australia, as the dashing right-hander’s spectacular 40th ODI hundred and the all-rounder’s all-important 46 pulled out the hosts from crisis situation.
And then Shankar’s stunning final over helped the Men in Blue to halt Australia’s hunt for victory in Nagpur, eventually, the hosts took a 2-0 lead in the ODI series at home.
Following the match, the leg-spinner interviewed Shankar and Kohli, who bagged his 50th international Man of the Match award on Tuesday. BCCI shared the video on it's twitter account.
On Twitter in reply to Chahal’s tweet, Rashid, who is currently in Dehradun playing a five-match ODI series against Ireland, asked the India spinner to invite him on his show. Chahal accepted the request and said that Rashid can come on the show whenever he has some free time.
