Indian cricketers Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul became the first cricketers to appear on the talk show Koffee with Karan hosted by Bollywood director Karan Johar. We had something spicy coming our way when the news of Indian cricketers appearing in the show came out.
A simple yet heavy question was asked by Karan to Hardik and Rahul, which no one, especially an Indian cricketer would like to answer on national Television.
"Who is a better batsman, Sachin Tendulkar or Virat Kohli?", asked Karan, as everyone waited for the answer from Rahul, who was first to go in the rapid fire round. "Virat," replied the Indian opener and later Hardik.
Was it necessary to answer it straight? Twitter debated and while some were happy they picked their captain, some expected a bit diplomacy in the answer, or rather duck it.
We know Rahul isn't good ducking the bouncer these days and he went on to play it. However, it's their own view and no one has the right to criticize them.
