The Indian cricket team will look to make history when they face Australia in the fourth Test at SCG. India will go into the SCG game with a 2-1 lead in the 2018-19 Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

India has started off aggressively by announcing their 13-man squad for the last Test. Ishant Sharma was left out due to a niggle and was replaced by Umesh Yadav.

Sydney has offered assistance to the spinners and three spinners find a place in Indian 13-man for the last Test is a shred of evidence. However, R Ashwin's chances for the last Test is doubtful because of injury.

However, a name in the squad has caused severe outrage among fans. KL Rahul has been woefully out of form in the series with 48 runs in four innings. He was dropped for the third Test along with his opening partner Murali Vijay. Vijay too failed to perform with only 49 runs in two games.

KL Rahul was included in place of Rohit Sharma, who has flown back to India after becoming a father to a baby girl.

Seems like after Mayank Agarwal's eye-catching debut, Indian skipper Virat Kohli is trying to pair up Mayank with Rahul in the last Test as Hanuma Vihari looked uncomfortable in the top order.

Here is the 13-man squad: Virat Kohli (C), A Rahane (VC), KL Rahul, Mayank Agarwal, C Pujara, H Vihari, R Pant, R Jadeja, K Yadav, R Ashwin, M Shami, Jasprit Bumrah, Umesh Yadav
