Mumbai cricketer Shivam Dube created a lot of buzz in the IPL 12 auction at Jaipur. He was one of the top buys in the auction. The all-rounder was sold to Royal Challengers Bangalore for an amount of Rs 5 crore.
In Ranji Trophy 2018-19, Shivam was in news for his average of 99.50 at one stage. In five matches that he has played, Shivam has scored 489 runs and has scalped 17 wickets. Also, a day before IPL auction, he hit five sixes off Swapnil Singh at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
Former Indian cricketer, currently commentator, Sanjay Manjrekar is impressed with Shivam. But cricket is not the reason. It is his looks which Manjrekar liked more. His tweet said he isn't sure if Dube will become an IPL sensation or not, but he is definitely good looking.
"Time will tell if Shivam Dubey becomes an IPL star or not, but he is already one of the most handsome players in the IPL. ????," his tweet read.
Fans were shocked seeing such tweet which made no sense at all, similar to his commentary mostly. They lashed out at Manjrekar which now has become mandatory on his every tweet.
