Shikhar Dhawan is spending some quality time with his family. The Indian opener is axed from the Test side after a flop show in the recent opportunities given to him. However, he has been a decent performer for India in limited overs cricket.
In the recently concluded T20I series against Australia, Dhawan was named as the Man of the Series after becoming the highest scorer in the series.
But he is not included in the Indian Test side for the four-match Test series against Australia. Dhawan is utilizing this time with his family.
Shikhar's family stays in Australia and the 32-year-old is making sure he gives time to his kids who hardly get to see him because of his busy schedule.
Dhawan shared a video on his Instagram account where he can be seen playing with his daughter. "She may outgrow my arms but will never outgrow my heart.. #Daughters #Precious #FamilyTime," he wrote.
He spoke on being left out from the Test side. "Yes, I was a bit sad but I have moved on and I am in a good fame of mind. I am in a happy positive mood. I am enjoying my game. I have got a bit off time and I am going to enjoy my training and get myself fitter. I am happy and once I am happy things go well for me," he said.
