WATCH – 47-year-old Pravin Tambe takes a record hattrick in T-10 league

Tambe became the third bowler to take a hat-trick in the T-10 tournament.

Pravin Tambe | T-10 League TwitterThe T-10 league underway in Sharjah saw a day of bowlers on Thursday, 22nd November 2018. On a day when Pakistani bowler Amir Yamin picked up four wickets in four balls, playing for Bengal Tigers against Northern Warriors; the accolades were shared by 47-year-old leg spinner Pravin Tambe, who took a hat-trick of his own.

Playing for the Sindhis, Tambe picked up a brilliant hat-trick and created a host of records against the Kerala Kings, who are the defending champions of the tournament.

Tambe has previously featured for Rajasthan Royals in the IPL also picked up the best figures in the format with his 5/15 in two overs. He also became the first bowler to pick up a fifer in the format and bowl a maiden over.

His victims included Chris Gayle on the second ball of the over, caught by Thisara Perera and then had Eoin Morgan dismissed on the 4th ball of the over in the same fashion, both off full toss deliveries and then removed Kieron Pollard and Fabian Allen to complete his hat-trick.
