Virat Kohli has a special message for fans on his 30th birthday. The Indian captain took to Twitter on Monday (November 5) and posted a video. In the video message, Kohli expressed his gratitude towards all the fans for their unconditional love.

“Every year you guys send so much birthday love! Time for me to return the love with some added sweetener for Diwali,” Kohli wrote in the caption of the video.

Besides thanking his fans, the Indian captain revealed that he will now be available for his fans at a more personal level through his official App.

“Hi guys, thank you so much for all your birthday wishes. It means a lot to me and it is quite special to see so much love and so much idolisation every year on my birthday,” Kohli said in the video.

“And as promised to you all already, I am going to connect to all of you at a more personal level now. And you will have access to lot more things about me that you don’t know or you have not seen in the past, which I am sure you already excited about,” he added.

Kohli is currently rested for the ongoing T20I series against the Windies. In the recently concluded five-match ODI series against the West Indies, Kohli ensured India won 3-1, scoring three back-to-back hundreds.

Kohli will resume cricket when India tour Australia later this month, starting with the T20I series on November 21.
