Son of former Pakistan leg-spinner Abdul Qadir, Usman Qadir, has exhibited potential in his first match in Australian colours for the Prime Minister's XI against South Africa.
Qadir picked up 3/28 from his 10 overs as the PMXI bundled out the Proteas for just 173 in 42 overs in Canberra on Wednesday.
Dwaine Pretorius, Lungi Ngidi and Imran Tahir were the victims of Usman Qadir. He showed amazing control on his wrong'uns. In particular, his delivery to get rid of Tahir grabbed the attention of everyone.
The leg-break bowler bowled a wrong’un, which deceived Tahir as he went on to the backfoot to play the ball on the leg side. Subsequently, Qadir and his teammates appealed in unison and the on-field umpire didn’t take much time to raise the finger.

Usman, 25, migrated to Australia in 2016 and is hoping to become a citizen of the country by 2020 in order to represent the Aussies in the World T20 in September, that year.
Usman earned his place in the side after consistent performances in the recent domestic list A competition, where his best of 3-50 on debut for Western Australia against Victoria stood out.
