Virat Kohli was slammed on Twitter for his promotional tweet just moments after the demise of former Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee at the age of 93. He was admitted in AIIMS and was on life support before the doctors announced the time of his death at 05:05 pm on August 16.
Kohli's post came at the wrong time and he received criticism for it. Tweeting about his brand WROGN, he wrote, "When you want it all Wrogn, there is only one place to get them. Visit http://wrogn.in and #StayWrogn #ShopNow @StayWrogn."

It was 'Wrogn' time from Virat to miss out on tweeting about the death of one of the favorite politicians of the country.
Fans were angry by the tweet. A user wrote, "Vajpayee sahab is passed away...yeh bhai sahab advertisement mein lage hai..ek tweet atal ji ke liye bhi banta hai indian captain."
Lashing out at the Indian skipper, another user was upset with the promotional tweet. "Such a disgrace, now in his support people will say, his PR team posted it, etc. No matter what you say, i am disgusted right now Virat Kohli.. You should have led with an example," his tweet read.
Here is how the Twitterati reacted:
