England scrunched Australia to win the ODI series 5-0. Jos Buttler made the whitewash possible with his brilliant unbeaten 110. The last win was the most dramatic one, as the hosts were nowhere near the game losing 8 wickets on 114 runs. A good partnership of Buttler with Adil Rashid took them close and then it was the centurion who finished it with a couple of good hits.
Buttler is in form of his life. After having an extraordinary IPL 2018 season, surprisingly, he was picked in the England Test squad against Pakistan. The 27-year-old had hit five successive fifties for the Rajasthan Royals, including two unbeaten 90s.
Former England cricketer Michael Vaughan praised Buttler for his innings. Vaughan has always been an admirer of the English wicket-keeper. He had once rated Buttler over MS Dhoni, as a finisher, on the basis of current form.
After his hundred, Vaughan made it clear that he is best in the business. "Buttler ..... #100 #BestInthebusiness #Fact," he wrote.
