Indian women's team is currently in Malaysia for the Asia Cup T20 tournament. Amid of all the action, the girls took out time to watch the latest Bollywood movie, Veere Di Wedding.

After thrashing the Malaysian team, Indian cricketers went out to enjoy their spare time. Smriti Mandhana and Veda Krishnamurthy posted tweets and lauded the movie. While Mandhana praised Swara Bhasker, one of the leads in the movie, Veda tweeted about the struggle they had to make to watch the movie.

"Watch @vdwthefilm amidst of all the traffic and rains in Malaysia !!! Walked almost 2 kms to make it to the theatres just so that we don’t miss coz of traffic !!! And totally worth it !! Special shout to @ReallySwara ❣️ !! will watch it again in India #toomanyscensoredcuts," Krishnamurthy said.

Earlier, India had thrashed Malaysia by a huge margin of 142 runs. The hosts were bowled out for just 27. Electing to bat, India scored 169 for 3 in their 20 overs. Mithali Raj scored an unbeaten 97 off 69 balls in the game.

Indian team, however, faced a shocking defeat against Bangladesh on Wednesday. This was their first ever loss in Asia Cup. The team rebounded well to defeat Sri Lanka on Thursday to keep their hopes alive in the tournament.
