South Indian movie star Mahesh Babu is a big fan of Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar. When asked about a sportsperson he would like to be, the superstar replied, "Sachin Tendulkar," without any second thought. 

The world knew this when Mahesh had shown interest in Sachin's biopic released last year. A big admirer of Sachin, Mahesh had written, "Legend, Superhero, Master Blaster Many names.. 1 man.. #SachinABillionDreams Can't wait to see his story unfold. All the best @sachin_rt :) (sic)."

And to this post, Sachin replied "Humbled and deeply grateful. Thanks, @ urstrulyMahesh !!," on Twitter for the much-awaited biopic.

Sachin is loved everywhere in India. No wonder, even after the retirement, his fan following remains the same. He has the same influence he had during his cricketing days.
