Cricketers are following the 'Break the Beard' trend to sport a new look this T20 season. After Ravindra Jadeja, Shikhar Dhawan and Kane Williamson, Hardik Pandya has shared a video of him breaking the beard.
Pandya, who loves to try out new haircuts, tried a new look with his facial hair. ".@krunalpandya24 - Oh! The style game just got interesting brother and if this is the #newlevel then my #BreakTheBeard look is the finishing move. Watch and learn brother, watch and learn.???? Cut it!," he wrote.
His elder brother Krunal Pandya had joined the trend too, before him. Krunal had thanked the fans for support after Mumbai Indians' first win in IPL 2018 and unveiled his new look to the fans on Twitter. His tweet read, "I am blessed to have fans who support me and after last night...the game is on and so is my new #BreaktheBeard style. Love you paltan, in particular #BestVBest #summerlook #MIGotStyle."
The cricketers are following each other's footstep but Virat Kohli hasn't joined the trend yet. He had refused to try the new look last year too. When Jadeja, Pandya, and Rohit Sharma got rid of their beard, Virat wrote, "Sorry boys @hardikpandya_official @royalnavghan @rohitsharma45 but I am not ready to break the beard yet ????. Great job on the makeovers though. Kudos ✌️✌️."
Fans had then joked that her then-girlfriend Anushka Sharma isn't allowing him to take part in this trend.
