One of India's most loved cricketers, MS Dhoni has won Padma Bhushan and his fans can't keep themselves calm, unlike their idol. Social media was filled with congratulatory posts for him.
He received the award from President Ram Nath Kovind on Monday. His appearance during the event was special. Dhoni holds the rank of lieutenant colonel in the Indian Army and was dressed in uniform and marched up to the President when his name was called upon.
The 36-year-old has a huge fan following on social media. They celebrated this achievement more than Dhoni would have.

Dhoni, after receiving the award, thanked the armed forces. "An honour to get the Padma Bhushan and receiving it in Uniform increases the excitement ten folds. Thanks to all the Men and Women in Uniform and their families for the Sacrifices they make so that all of us could enjoy our Constitutional Rights," he posted on his Instagram account.
