Jofra Archer | GETTY
Twitter never forgives! We have seen it several times that Twitteratis dig into any celebrity's account and make them face their past. Looks like Jofra Archer, the new T20 sensation will have to delete few of his tweets too.
The 22-year-old is going play IPL this April and it is expected that the pacer will make an impact. But before that, he wasn't welcomed by Indian fans gracefully. In fact, the young pacer had to face a lot of criticism for his old tweets.
The uncapped Caribbean, who was sold at a mammoth sum of Rs 7.2 crores to Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2018 auction had tweeted things against Indian cricket team and most importantly India's one of the most loved cricketer MS Dhoni.
Official Twitter account of Rajasthan Royals tweeted a video of Archer. He thanked the franchise for buying him and looked excited to represent them.
A message from West Indies cricketing sensation @craig_arch!

Don't let his good manners fool you. He's a fierce competitor on the field, just like the Windies greats before him.#AbBajegaDanka #IPL2018 #IPLAuction #HallaBol pic.twitter.com/wVP8roftW6
In reply, a fan named Abhay Chaudhary had done his homework very nicely. He tweeted the screenshot of Jofra's old tweets and ignited a fire.

Here are the responses:
Most of the IPL players are bloody mercenaries. No loyalty. Look at this moron @craig_arch who is recording a video in Hurricanes team jersey when asked by #RR to send them a video. They are paying him over a million USD and he can't even find some different shirt.

Archer was signed by Sussex in 2016, he finished the 2017 County Championship season as their leading wicket-taker in Division Two. He got recognized worldwide after joining Australia's famous Big Bash League. He replaced Tom Curran and joined the Hobart Hurricanes. It was his debut when he created buzz. Archer bowled a double-wicket maiden against the Melbourne Renegades.
