India former captain MS Dhoni who usually tries to keep himself away from the gossips has made headlines for his personal life. 

There was a time when former Captain Cool had a huge crush on Deepika Padukone and he did nothing to hide it. He had himself spilled the beans by expressing his admiration for Deepika openly. Reacting to the then skipper's comment that he has a crush on her, Deepika made a fitting reply saying that it flattered her.

It is now rumored that Dhoni had cut his hair short for Deepika. An old report had stated that Deepika didn't like the long hair of MSD. However, neither Dhoni or Deepika ever confirmed it.

Dhoni had also invited Padukone for a T20 match in 2007 and she accepted his invitation. He had also asked Shahrukh Khan about the special screening of 2007 released 'Om Shaanti Om' movie which featured Deepika in lead and was her debut bollywood movie.

But the link between both came to an end after Deepika was spotted with Yuvraj Singh. There was the time when the lady went all the way to Australia to celebrate her 22nd Birthday with Yuvraj. Deepika was expected to spend a month in Australia for the shooting of her Yash Raj film. But the actress left Mumbai two days before the start of her shooting schedule to spend time with Yuvraj.

However, Dhoni has always denied any relation with the B-town superstar. He said that nothing is cooking between them and that the rumors were just the creation of the media. He clarified that he cut his hair because he has been growing it for the last three and a half years. It has to be recalled that Pakistan President Parvez Musharaf praised his mane during India's tour to Pakistan a couple of years ago.

Dhoni said that media has been linking him to different girls every month and therefore requested it to stick him to only one girl.
