MS Dhoni, former India captain, caused a stir on social media on Monday after riding a superbike around the Madras International Circuit at Irungattukottai, near Chennai.  

Before speaking with business stakeholders, the renowned cricket player tested the brand's flagship motorcycle tires by completing fast laps on the permanent motor racing circuit at a promotional event hosted by TVS Eurogrip.

Dhoni was shown enjoying the excitement of riding on a global circuit in a video that went viral on social media. He finished a few fast circuits without holding back, giving it full throttle. As soon as he got back to the pit lane, photographers surrounded him.

Videos of the ride swiftly went viral on social media as the 45-year-old legend finished his race by taking off his helmet and waving to the hundreds of thrilled spectators gathered around the pit lane.

While the videos of MS Dhoni racing the superbike went viral, the question mark over his IPL career for Chennai Super Kings continues. The 45-year-old didn’t play a single game in the IPL 2026 after suffering a calf strain before the tournament began.

Now the fans are in a conundrum about whether MS Dhoni will play in the IPL next year, in 2027, or not.
