Former India cricketer Virat Kohli was captured by the camera cheering for the India Women’s team during their must-win ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 game against Australia on June 28, 2026, at Lord's.
In the do-or-die game, Harmanpreet Kaur won the toss and chose to bat first. Smriti Mandhana (38) and Shafali Verma (34) added 66 runs for the first wicket. After their dismissal, Harmanpreet Kaur and Jemimah Rodrigues took charge, adding 64 runs for the third wicket.
Rodrigues made 34 in 28 balls, while Harmanpreet Kaur made 56 in 27 balls with 6 fours and 3 sixes as India posted 170/4 in 20 overs.
During the game, cameras captured Virat Kohli, his wife, and actress Anushka Sharma, and former India head coach Ravi Shastri enjoying the game from the stands. Kohli and Anushka have resided in London since 2021 and came to cheer the Indian women’s team.
