Indian cricket fans were taken aback by the never-seen avatar of ex-cricketer Rahul Dravid earlier this year in April. Known as 'The Wall', Dravid had featured in an advertisement and he earned another nickname 'Indiranagar ka Gunda'.
But Indian seamer Deepak Chahar believes Dravid is 'Gunda' of not just Indiranagar but entire India. Chahar is currently in limelight for his heroic knock against Sri Lanka in the second ODI.
India were in deep trouble with 7 down on 193 runs while chasing a target of 276. Chahar smashed unbeaten 69 runs and stitched up a partnership of 84* runs with Bhuvneshwar Kumar to take India home.

On Thursday (July 22) in a press conference, Chahar spoke on Dravid and said, "Rahul Dravid sir sirf Indiranagar ka gunda nahi hai pure India k bann gaye hai (Rahul Dravid isn't just gunda of Indiranagar but entire India".
In the TVC, Dravid can be seen angry at random people after getting stuck in the traffic. He shouts at people, breaks their side-mirror, and then calls himself a rowdy guy while holding a cricket bat out of the car's rooftop. "Indiranagar ka gunda hun main", he yells in the ad which went viral on the internet.
India has taken a 2-0 lead in the three-match ODI series. They will be playing the third ODI against Sri Lanka on July 23. The three-match ODI series will be followed by a three-match T20I face-off.
