With Virat Kohli and Co. staying in the UK for the upcoming five-match Test series against England scheduled to begin from 4 August, a new Team India consisting of a mixture of youngsters and experienced players led by Shikhar Dhawan has traveled to Sri Lanka for a white-ball tour.
After landing in Colombo where the three-match ODI and as many T20I series between India and Sri Lanka will be played, the Indian team went into quarantine and have recently started training.
With the ODI series opener to be played on July 13, the touring side had a team meeting on Monday (5 July). But before getting together at the table with head coach Rahul Dravid, the players had a fun time with each other.

Skipper Shikhar Dhawan took to Instagram and shared some photos with his teammates. In one of the photos, the Indian captain can be seen playing video games along with his deputy Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Prithvi Shaw.
“Downtime with the boys followed by a team meeting ahead of the big series,” Dhawan wrote on Instagram.
