SL v IND 2021: Team India players chill in the swimming pool after finishing quarantine in Colombo

India vs Sri Lanka ODI series begins from July 13, followed by 3-match T20I series.

Indian skipper Shikhar Dhawan with coach Rahul Dravid | TwitterShikhar Dhawan-led Team India is currently in Sri Lanka for the upcoming three-match ODI and as many T20I series and recently completed their quarantine at the Tak Samudra Hotel in Colombo. 

The BCCI shared a photo of Indian players spending some time by the swimming pool. While posting the photos of the happy faces, BCCI wrote, “The joy of getting out of quarantine. All smile Fun video coming up soon on http://bcci.tv #TeamIndia #SLvIND.

Yuzvendra Chahal and Suryakumar Yadav also posted a couple of photos with Suryakumar captioning his tweet as, "Chilling by the pool, with them boys!"

The Indian team was scheduled to tour the Island nation for the limited-overs tour last year which was postponed owing to the COVID-19 pandemic. Thus, to make up for the losses to Sri Lanka Cricket, BCCI scheduled this tour.

The three-match ODI series begins on July 13 and the other two matches are scheduled on July 16, 18. The T20I series that follows is slated to begin from July 21 with the other two matches to be played on July 23, 25 with all 6 matches to be played at R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.

This Indian Team will have Bhuvneshwar Kumar as Dhawan's deputy and since Ravi Shastri is in England with Virat Kohli and Co, the Indian team in Sri Lanka will be coached by Rahul Dravid.
