Virat Kohli has upset Indian cricket fans and this time his batting failure isn't the reason. The broadcaster captured Kohli chewing gum during India's national anthem ahead of the third ODI match against South Africa.
Twitterati were not happy with Kohli's casual behavior during the national anthem and they went on to slam him. The video is now being spread all over social media.
The 33-year-old is already going through a rough patch in his career. Kohli had left the T20I captaincy before getting sacked as ODI captain by BCCI. He later quit the Test captaincy as well after the three-match Test series against South Africa.

Even with the bat, Kohli's century is long-awaited as it last came in 2019 against Bangladesh. He was dismissed on a duck in the second ODI against South Africa, after scoring a half-century in the first match.
Cricket pundits had criticized his way of dismissal in both the matches and they felt the ex-India captain is looking out of rhythm with the bat. Although Kohli has managed to score half-centuries from time to time, his domination with the bat is missing.
