Team India will take on South Africa in a three-match ODI series, starting January 19. The first two games of the series will be held at Boland Park in Paarl while the final match will be played in Cape Town.
India recently faced South Africa in a three-match Test series and suffered a 2-1 defeat. The visitors have now started the preparation for the ODI series, and the team will be led by stand-in captain KL Rahul.
On the eve of the first ODI, Indian cricket team’s official Instagram account shared pictures from the practice session, in which the likes of Rahul, Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan, and Rishabh Pant can be seen honing their batting skills.
The duo of Suryakumar Yadava and Shreyas Iyer also featured in the post doing fielding drills while R Ashwin, Jasprit Bumrah, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar were spotted bowling in the nets.
