India captain Virat Kohli sledged South African batter Rassie van der Dussen for his verbal spat with wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant in the second Test match. Rassie had poked Pant for wrongly claiming his catch which appeared to have bounced in front of him but the umpire still ruled him out.
The Indian wicketkeeper had replied, "If you have half-knowledge, then keep your mouth shut", before getting dismissed by Kagiso Rabada. Pant had later sledged him during South Africa's second innings.
Kohli, on Day 4 of the third Test, had a go at Van der Dussen over his spat with Pant and said, "You go after someone who is five years younger than you?" Come on Sham, nick him off proper now."
Rishabh Pant had continuously chirped from behind the wickets when Dussen came to bat in the second innings of the Johannesburg Test. The 24-year-old mocked the South African by saying that he has forgotten where his guard was and also said he can only score off the edge.
