Every cricket fan loves watching Rishabh Pant play in his aggressive, fearless attitude but his shot selection quality is something that often puts him under the radar. He prefers playing aerial rather than grounded and mostly gets caught after playing such rash aerial shots.
This was also witnessed during the 2nd innings of the Johannesburg Test, in which India lost by 7 wickets. After playing Rassie van der Dussen, Pant tried to smash Kagiso Rabada’s bowl out of the park, where he was only successful in getting a top-edge and got caught by the wicketkeeper.
For his reckless batting and the way he was dismissed, Pant was universally slammed by the experts of the cricket world and Indian spinner Pragyan Ojha was the latest to join the line.

“If #siraj is not available for tomorrow’s game, #ishant should play. It will be very surprising if he doesn’t. Unfortunately #vihari will make way for #virat. #pant with his shot selection has forced himself from being a postpaid connect to a prepaid!” Ojha tweeted.
He also suggested that Ishant Sharma should be included in the Playing XI.
Indian team captain, Virat Kohli won the toss and chose to bat first in the series-deciding Third Test match against South Africa in Cape Town. Hanuma Vihari made way for Kohli, while Mohammed Siraj, who was injured during the second Test match was replaced by Umesh Yadav.
South Africa went in unchanged.
