Jasprit Bumrah’s argument with South African pacer Marco Jansen on the Day 3 of the ongoing second Test in Johannesburg didn’t go down well with former Indian cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar, who said that he doesn’t like the angry side of Indian pacer.

The ongoing second Test match between South Africa and India in Johannesburg has been raising the excitement bar to newer levels. Not only there's been an even contest of bat and ball, but players of both teams have also engaged in heated arguments.

During the 54th over of India’s second innings on Day 3, pacer Jasprit Bumrah exchanged some words with his South African counterpart, Marco Jansen, after the former failed to connect a short delivery from the Proteas pacer.

During their confrontation both the players squared off in the middle of the pitch before on-field umpire Marias Erasmus eased the tension.

In an interaction on ESPNCricinfo, Sanjay Manjrekar was asked about Bumrah’s face-off with Marco Jansen, to which the former Indian cricketer replied that he doesn’t like the angry side of the pacer.

He mentioned that he doesn’t want to see this side of Bumrah as he always has a smile on his face.

“This anger thing is interesting. It happened in England as well. I don’t like this side of Bumrah. It’s a side of Bumrah I don’t want to see too much of. I like it when things get really hot, he has a smile on his face, like he usually does,” Sanjay Manjrekar said.

Notably, Jasprit Bumrah also had a heated argument with James Anderson, when India toured England earlier this year.

Coming to the second Test between South Africa and India, the hosts ended the Day 3 at 118/2, with 122 more runs needed to win.
