South Africa batter Rassie van der Dussen was the 4th Proteas wicket to fall on the second day of the ongoing second Test match against India at the Wanderers, Johannesburg which also brought upon the lunch break.
He was caught behind by Rishabh Pant off the bowling of Shardul Thakur. Thakur got a ball to jag back sharply into Van der Dussen and got the inside edge and Rishabh Pant dove forward to catch the ball. The on-field umpire had given him out and he walked back to the pavilion and lunch for called.
However, during the lunch break, after viewing multiple replays of the catch from various angles, it seemed like the ball had bounced just before settling into the gloves of Pant. But by then the batters had crossed the boundary rope and no one appealed to the umpire as well.
