Team India reached South Africa on Thursday (December 16) ahead of the three-match Test series, slated to get underway from December 26. They will also play a three-match ODI series on the tour, starting January 19, 2022.
The official account of BCCI shared a video of the Indian cricket team's journey to Johannesburg. The video captured the fun banter between India captain Virat Kohli and fast bowler Ishant Sharma, who have been long-time friends.

Kohli can be seen peeking into Ishant's bag and he called it a 'godown' due to the size of his packing. The lanky pacer was carrying everything one would need on a holiday, as pointed out by Kohli.
The India captain joked that whoever runs away with this bag can spend a holiday anywhere. Ishant played along and said he also have books.
Cheteshwar Pujara talked about his failed attempts to sleep, while Ajinkya Rahane, who sat next to him, said he was very annoying. India's head coach Rahul Dravid and Shreyas Iyer were also spotted sharing a laugh in the four-minute video.
The team was welcomed with a traditional dance at the Irene Country Lodge, where the team is staying in a bio-bubble. They underwent COVID-19 tests and at the end of the video, wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant spoke about looking forward to exploring the resort.
"From Mumbai to Jo'Burg! Capturing #TeamIndia's journey to South Africa," wrote BCCI while posting the video on Twitter.
