India and Ireland will clash in the first T20I of the two-match series on June 26 in Belfast. Before the game, the Indian team had an intense practice session. There is a huge anticipation about the 15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, who is likely to make his India debut in the Ireland series.

Sooryavanshi did an hour of his batting workout in the nets against India bowlers and other net bowlers, including throwdown specialists. He was also seen having a chat with India head coach Gautam Gambhir about his batting and received some advice from him. Sooryavanshi also had some words with Ishan Kishan and got some suggestions as well.

Sooryavanshi is seen bowling his left-arm spinners to Abhishek Sharma and was appealing every time Abhishek hit him in the air. The banter between the two opening batters continued as long as they clashed in the nets.

In another video, Abhishek Sharma is seen bowling to Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, and the youngster hammers the experienced opener for huge hits.

It remains to be seen whether the Indian team management will give in to the hype of Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and break the opening partnership between Sanju Samson and Abhishek Sharma, who did well in the T20 World Cup 2026.
