IRE v IND 2023: WATCH- Ravi Bishnoi promises Rinku Singh to do Shah Rukh Khan's pose next time he takes a wicket

Bishnoi has picked 4 wickets in ongoing Ireland T20I series.

Ravi Bishnoi and Rinku Singh | BCCIIndia pocketed the 3-match T20I series against Ireland after winning the first two matches with the final encounter to take place on August 23, 2023, in Dublin. It was a clinical performance by the Men in the Blue side as both batters and bowlers shined.

India had batted first and posted 185/5 with Ruturaj Gaikwad making 58, Sanju Samson making 40 and Rinku Singh impressing with 38 in his first outing with the bat. Then despite Andy Balbirnie’s 72-run knock, Ireland could only make 152/8 and lost the match by 33 runs.

Jasprit Bumrah, Prasidh Krishna, and Ravi Bishnoi picked two wickets each for India.

Bishnoi has been working hard on cementing his reputation as an attacking, wicket-taking spinner, hoping to become a regular part of the Indian team across formats as they undergo transition. So far he has played one ODI and 13 T20Is since making his India debut last year, taking a combined 21 wickets at the international level.

After the second Ireland T20I, Bishnoi and Rinku chatted and the video of the same was shared by BCCI on its social media channels.

During the conversation, Bishnoi revealed the secret behind his wicket celebrations during which he holds both his hands aloft.

Everybody has got their own thing, I didn’t have anything (unique celebration). So I thought let’s raise hands. God has been very kind, so I keep thanking him through this celebration," Bishnoi said in a chat with his teammate Rinku Singh.

Rinku replied, “SRK (Shah Rukh Khan) also does that and I said you should do that during match."

Surely, I will fulfill your wish the next time. My brother is a big fan of SRK. Will try for that next time," Bishnoi said he will definitely do that the next time.
